Mind Safety Management's President and CEO, Peter Jones, will be honored by his Alma mater, North Central College, as an "Outstanding Alumni" award recipient at this year's 2016 Homecoming festivities. Mr. Jones, a 1976 graduate of North Central, with degrees in Political Science and Speech Communication, has served on the North Central College Board of Directors for the past 25 years. The Outstanding Alumni Award is presented annually to one or more alumni who have excelled in their careers, demonstrated service to the community and to North Central College. The awards will be presented Saturday, October 29, 2016 during Homecoming weekend. "Time flows by so effortlessly when you get a good start in life. The passage of the past 40 years seems like 40 minutes to me, and a large part of that comes from the good start on the path to an adult life I got from North Central.", Mr Jones says. "I have been fortunate enough to build off of the experiences I received from the wonderful people associated with North Central and whom I met and learned from in Naperville and those experiences have endured for the rest of my life. Its nice to be recognized, but the true recognition goes to North Central. I'm happy that I've had the opportunity to "give back" over the last 25 years on the board of directors." Founded in 1861, North Central College is an independent, comprehensive college of the liberal arts and sciences that offers more than 55 undergraduate majors and graduate programming in six areas. North Central College is committed to academic excellence; a climate that emphasizes leadership, ethics, values and service; a curriculum that balances job-related knowledge with a liberal arts foundation; and a caring environment with small classes. Among other notations North Central is: • One of “America’s Best Colleges” as noted by U.S. News & World Report • Named a 2016 “Best Midwestern College” and “Green College” by The Princeton Review • One of Forbes magazine’s “America’s Top Colleges” • A “Military-Friendly School 2016” by G.I.
